  4. For those with a desire or need to travel world-wide, this is a real boon. This is a perfect carry-on backpack for digital nomads and for someone who is very particular when it comes to organization. Not to mention that its size will fit the current carry-on size limits of most airlines world-wide. So yes, go for the Standard Luggage carry-on – no doubt about it. 🙂

  11. As a backpacker, I’m constantly trying to reduce the size of my backpack so I can enjoy the journey more comfortably. Standard luggage could be the game changer and like the article claims, I could finally ditch that check-in piece!

    The Standard definitely seems like the way to go. It’s efficient, space-saving, and versatile. There’s nothing wrong with a good ‘ol fashioned backpack but if you’re going to be a full-time wanderer, why not voyage in style?

  13. This is fantastic! We travel via carry-on and one of ours just took it’s last flight when we travelled back to Canada (it did survive a year of travel around Asia before it fell apart!) Fingers crossed for winning this but if not, I’m thinking I’ll need to get one of these anyway!

  21. The bigger bag you have the more you pack. A smaller bag means you only take the necessities and it’s much easier to get around.

  22. I do need a new smaller bag! This would be perfect, lost my small duffel earlier this year… For short trips it would be perfect. I don’t know if I can do long trips yet with just a small carryon. Need to work up to that lol

  33. I was loving this bag, then you mentioned the interchangeable tags etc, and THEN the packing cubes – awesome!
    If you can fit all your essentials in here it’s a great idea – looks great when you arrive in a city an have a bit of time before you can check in anywhere and sure it would make you feel very free to not be carrying around unnecessary bulk.

  41. You should definitely go for this leaving the backpack behind. Neither too large nor too small. Stylish and compact. Looks great, more sophisticated than any rucksack. I usually carry two backpacks – one for my laptop, chargers, notepad etc., the office stuff as you said, while the other for clothes, shoes and all those things. This bag looks like a great package to fit that all into one. I’m already swooning over 😉

  60. I try to do carry-on only when I travel. I hate waiting for checked bags at the airport, and the possibility of my bag getting damaged or not arriving on my flight is enough to make me do carry-on.

  61. I actually have the Standard Luggage bag. Since I mainly fly Air Asia, I’ve never been able to take it as a cabin bag. With only a 7kg allowance, that’s just over 5kg of stuff! Maybe okay for a weekend away but impossible for long term travel esp with a laptop.

    Tbh, I can’t carry it with the shoulder strap. It cuts into my chest bone too much. The backpack straps are great. I had about 13 kg of luggage and found it difficult to deal with but I’ve cut down to 12kg and it is suddenly manageable!

  65. You get the best of three worlds and it looks more stylish than a traditional backpack. Based on your post, sounds like it’s definitely worth a try! I would love to use this on future Air Asia flights, since I fly AirAsia quite often. My current daypack is a bit too small to fit all the stuff but a traditional carry-on is inconvenient to carry around.

  67. What an opporunity! I still travel with a giant suitcase, but i’m going to have a little trip from Chiang Mai to Laos and i don’t wanna to take all my belongins with me. But i realy need to take my computer and some warm and good looking clothes, so it think this it THE BEST Carry-On Backpack i can ever find! 😉
